Greater St Lucia Wetlands Park – In 2006 WEI tested a methodology for completing a large scale atlas survey across the whole of the Greater St Lucia Wetland Park. This combined effort with Operation Wallacea in the United Kingdom and the Rare, Threatened and Endemic Species project of Ezemvelo KZN Wildlife resulted in an ongoing project with the objective to complete constant effort surveys over the whole park to provide distributional maps and additional data on habitat usage by the threatened species within the Park. WEI also facilitates contributions to the core funding of the RTES project and infrastructure development in the park.
